Game Results
Yesterday's highly anticipated match turned out to a downpour of not only a monsoon, but sweat and tears as well. After a tense and tiring match in one of the worst days of weather yet, the Snitch was dropped and picked up by Slytherin Seeker Chris Coleman. Although the end of the match was disappointing in result in a typical Slytherin fashion, Gryffindor is keeping their heads high. Team Captain Steven Wood, showing remarkable sportsmanship, says, " I think we learned alot about both teams and I know people have criticized both teams and the outcomes, but i applaud Slytherin on a good game played and better luck to us next time. " Veteran Slytherin Chaser Nazz Spurio, on the other hand says, "The rain really added to the occasion, but in all honesty, it slowed me down, that's why I only got six goals. Hopefully next time we can go against a tougher team, because Gryffindor sure has some things to work on." Seems like the Slytherin attitude towards adversaries doesnt change with whether they win or lose. A revenge match is sure to follow soon. In the meantime, Gryffindor players will be attending the Ravenclaw vs. Hufflepuff match at 12:30 today to scout out the future competition. Good Luck next time, Gryffindor!!!

First Quidditch Match of the Season: Gryffindor vs. Slytherin
Today's highly anticipated first match of the season, Gryffindor vs. Slytherin, will be held on the Ingles pitch at 12:15 today. Tensions are running high as both teams show their spirit off. Team colors and friendly banter are cleary given, but no "hard" feelings...yet. Everyone knows that the rivalry between slytherina dn Gryffindor is centuries old, and with legacies such the wizarding world reknowned Harry Potter, The Boy WHo Lived, and such hated menaces as Draco Malfoy, there will be no surprise if things turn up uglier on the pitch than they appear to be at the present time. With rising stars such as Steven Wood (Gryffindor keeper and team captain) and Chaser Emily Whitted, going up against Nazz Spurio( for details of his 'un"sportsman-like conduct in previous matches, see page. 5) and Rohan, all we can guarentee is that this game is sure to be pretty magical.
